We Live what We learn

We live what we learn
so smile at your children
tie their shoes
tousle their hair
Tell them how great they are
How proud you are of them
We live what we learn
so dry your son’s tears
pick her up
tell her she’s safe
tell him he’s loved
Play
Laugh
Read
Be silly
Cry
Because someday they’ll have children of their own
and they’ll live what they’ve learned.

  1. The generations following you– how they might become starts with you. Thanx for sharing your poetry with us, Kathy. Have a wonderful day.
